Olivia Wilde Biography
Olivia Wilde (born Olivia Cockburn, March 10, 1984) is an American actress who starred on the short lived U.S. television show Skin.
Wilde was born in New York City, New York and has appeared in such films as The Girl Next Door and Alpha Dog. Born Olivia Cockburn, she is the daughter of journalist Andrew Cockburn and the granddaughter of writer Claud Cockburn. She attended Phillips Academy as well as the Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. Wilde is the wife of Tao Ruspoli, an Italian American documentary filmmaker, photographer and flamenco guitar player.
She is also well known for her recurring appearances on The O.C. as Alex.
