Cindy Margolis Biography

Cindy Margolis (born Cynthia D. Margolis on October 1, 1965 in Los Angeles, California) is an American model.

Margolis started her modeling career on her own. While attending college at UCLA she had a project in business class that dealt with greeting cards. She took this idea further and started selling a line of cards with her image on them. Agents for the modeling business started asking who this woman on the cards was and her modeling career was off to a big start. She has modeled in advertising for companies such as Reebok, Vidal Sassoon, Coors, Hanes, and Sunkist.

Margolis has also appeared as a Barker's Beauty on the game show The Price Is Right.

Margolis has found increased fame on the Internet. She has been named Yahoo! Internet Life magazine's "Queen of the Internet" from 1996-1999. She also found her way into the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records as a result of being the "most downloaded" person in 1999. The record was 70,000 times in a span of 24 hours. But she never went topless for photos, though close.

Margolis is married to restauranteur Guy Starkman. Margolis had great trouble with infertility, and resorted to in-vitro fertilization that was eventually successful. Cindy and Mr. Starkman now have a son, Nicholas Isaac, born June 10, 2002 and twin daughters, Sabrina and Sierra, born July 17, 2005.
