Paul competed at the 1997 Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii.

Alexandra's identical twin sister, Caroline Paul, was one of the first women to join the San Francisco Fire Department and has written a memoir entitled Fighting Fire: A Personal Story about her experiences.

Paul is one of only two leading Baywatch actresses without breast enlargements.

The bride and groom met 5 years earlier during a triathlon. Their honeymoon included an ocean swim and a Malibu triathlon the following day.
