Abby Wilde Biography
Abby Wilde (born Abigail Miriam Dauermann) on February 25, 1989 in San Francisco, California) is an American actress and singer, and best known for her role on the hit Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101 as Stacey Dillsen, the accident-prone residential "weirdo".
Abby began acting at the age of 6, beginning in a class with her brothers at the local YMCA branch. Since then, she has appeared in the casts of many plays, Shakespeare performances, opera concerts, one-act play festivals, and musicals.
Abby plays, (in Zoey 101), a very energetic and accident-prone girl named Stacey Dillsen, who is Pacific Coast Academy's "weirdo", occasionally seen as the butt of many jokes, and often found amusing herself building structures out of cotton swabs and white glue. The role evolved from what was originally a three-line guest spot; Stacey is now regularly seen floating in and out of the action at PCA.
Abby is currently filming a feature length film, "Family of Four" written and directed by John Suits and is set to debut later in 2008.
Abby is the youngest of three children; her family moved to Southern California when she was 6 months old, and she currently lives with her mother and father in the town she grew up in. She tested out of high school at the age of 14 and attends classes at a local community college when she is not working in film or television.
