Kicking and Screaming Plot

Kicking & Screaming is a 2005 comedy film, directed by Jesse Dylan.

Phil Weston (played by Ferrell), is an average person who has had to endure his father Buck's over-competitiveness throughout his childhood. Phil decides to coach his son's recreational soccer team, and soon finds that he's inherited his father's desire to win.

With assistant coach, Mike Ditka (played by himself), Phil and his team go head-to-head with the best team of the league, headed by Buck (played by Duvall). With old scores to settle, Phil and Buck go to desperate lengths to win the championship.
