Assassination of a High School President, previously known as The Sophomore, is an American 2008 comedy film, directed by Brett Simon, written by Tim Calpin and Kevin Jakubowski, and starring Reece Thompson, Bruce Willis, Mischa Barton, Michael Rapaport, Kathryn Morris, and Josh Pais. The film is set for release in August 2008. The film premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

A girl, Francesca (Mischa Barton) investigates the theft of the SATs with a sophomore newspaper reporter, Bobby (Reece Thompson).
