A Goofy Movie Trivias
Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck make multiple cameo appearances in the film. They appear together during "On the Open Road", Mickey is in the audience of Powerline's concert, Mickey's image is on Max's bedside phone and on the back of a baby's high chair during the "Stand Out" reprise, and Donald Duck is mentioned by Max as Goofy's best friend.
When Max is backstage getting ready to perform in front of the school, there is a backdrop of a skull with a mermaid sitting on it along with a pirate ship is seen. This is a visual reference to Disney movie's, Peter Pan.
During the first "Stand Out" scene, Max's multiple appearance on the backdrop screen is a tribute to Andy Warhol.
When playing 20 questions, Max says he is thinking of a man. Goofy guesses 'Walt Disney'. His name is said towards the end of the film when Max attempts to play the game again with his father.
Goofy's keychain has the Disney 'D' on it in gold colouring.
During the "On The Open Road" scene, a Wilhelm scream can be heard when Goofy's car crashes into a scaffold and warning signal with construction workers on it.
One of the lyrics in the "On The Open Road" song is "I got no strings on me", which is a reference to one of the songs in the Walt Disney animated motion picture Pinocchio. Another is "I'm feeling fancy free," a reference to the Disney film Fun and Fancy Free, which contained the shorts "Bongo the Bear" and "Mickey and the Beanstalk".
Lester's Possum Park is an obvious parody of the Country Bear Jamboree attraction in the Magic Kingdom (in the Latin American version, it's called the Lester's Raccoon Park).
The scene with the mime, in which Goofy plays along causing a piano to drop, is set at Disneyland's New Orleans Square.
At the sea-themed motel, the night light is in the form of a red-head mermaid, a reference to Ariel of Disney's The Little Mermaid.
After Max crashes into the screen at Powerline's concert, there is a Hidden Mickey in the bottom right corner when the crowd is cheering.

During the song "On The Open Road" Goofy's key chain has the famous Walt Disney's logo "D" on it.There are several references to Disney characters, including a game of 20 Questions, ("Man or woman?" "Man..." "Hmm... Walt Disney?" "Right..."), Max saying Goofy's 'best buddy' is Donald Duck, a cardboard prop with Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" after Max gets "busted", and a hitch-hiking Mickey Mouse (accompanied by Donald) having a small part in the song "On The Open Road".
WILHELM SCREAM: During the "On the Open Road" song, Goofy's car crashes into a construction scaffolding and the famous scream can be heard.
GOOFY HOLLER: The cartoon equivalent of the famous "Wilhelm Scream" can be heard as the movie opens and the title is shown on screen. And again at the end of the movie after Goofy's car explodes and he's sent flying upwards, then plummets back to the ground.
P.J.'s intials stand for "Pete Junior".Goofy's car is an AMC Pacer.
At the end of the movie, when Goofy is blown into the air by his exploding car, his boots remain on the ground. However, they're back on his feet when he crashes through the roof.Pete sticks Velcro onto a girl's diaper and a table to stop her running away in the photo shop. When Goofy offers her a toy at one point, the Velcro square is not seen; yet when she runs away, leaving her diaper on the table, the Velcro square is visible again.
When Max is turning over the postcard from Lester's Possum Park to write to Roxanne the postcard's picture flips right-side-up while he's turning it.Max and Goofy's shoes disappear and reappear throughout the "Nobody Else But You" sequence.
When Goofy and Max enter the motel room, the waterbeds are see though and have fish in them. Later, when goofy comes back, the beds are no longer see through.As Max and Goofy are floating over the waterfall, Goofy falls when the handle of the fishing rod slides off. As Max performs the "perfect cast" to save him, the handle is back on the rod, then it is off again afterwards.
The position of Goofy and his tent changes in relation to Pete's giant RV. At first the RV stops so that Goofy is directly under the midpoint, then after it sets up the tent is peeking out the back. When the door opens the tent is completely under the RV.When Max is singing in the school auditorium, Roxanne's position changes from close to the stage to the back of the room.
While Max is getting ready to do his show in the school auditorium, PJ's mouth doesn't move while he's talking.
The hole Max makes in the screen during the Power Line gag disappears and reappears multiple times.Lester introduces his possum band from left to right as Buford, Beulah, and Mordecai. When Mordecai asks Lester if ready to yodel, he replies, "Sure am, Buford!"
When Max has Goofy turn to go to Roxanne's house, he's wearing the fishing suit. When he gets out he's not wearing it any more.When Goofy and Max arrive at Roxanne's house after the Powerline concert, Max is sitting in the car with his seat belt on. When he is getting out of the car you can still see the seat belt over his shoulder but he gets out of the car without ever taking it off.
During the "After Today" scene when the school bus drives by, Bobby can be seen sitting directly behind the two girls dressed in black. Then when the inside of the bus is shown, it is filled with cheerleaders. Then when the bus arrives at school, Bobby can be seen again getting off the bus.During the Powerline concert, Goofy can be seen walking into Powerline's backup singer's dressing room when she can simultaneously be heard singing on stage.
Goofy's car door handle is seen throughout the movie as being both vertical and horizontal. There is also a keyhole in certain scenes, but not when Goofy goes to unlock the door with his key (after the Possum Park).When Max is writing a postcard to Roxanne, the passenger side window is rolled up. However, when he tears up the postcard and throws the pieces out the window, it is rolled down.
When the student body is chanting Max's name, Bobby is shown hanging onto a statue. Just a moment later, when Max high-fives the students on the school bus, Bobby is now shown on the bus.While driving toward the junction, the strings on Max's hoodie disappear and then reappear again a moment later.
At the diner, Max's bacon and parsley disappear for a few seconds, as does the syrup on Goofy's pancakes.Between the scenes where Goofy delivers pizza to Max and P.J. at the hotel and relaxes in the hot tub, the strings on his swim trunks disappear and reappear.
