Songs From Instant Star Three Review

Songs from Instant Star Three is the soundtrack for the third season of Instant Star. All of the songs on the CD were originally sung by Alexz Johnson, but when she was signed to Capitol Records, other people recorded them. The reason for this was to lessen confusion with Alexz's upcoming solo album, which has now been delayed because of Capitol Records being bought out. On the show itself, most songs will be sung by Alexz. However, Tyler Kyte's character, Vincent Spiederman, records a solo single (thus far in the series), and Karma also has a musical career in which she will be recording with limited relevance to the show/soundtrack. Amazon.ca says the reason that the songs aren't all sung by Alexz is because of legal issues.

It was released to Canada on July 3rd, and was scheduled to be released to digital music store iTunes on July 10. This was confirmed by Orange Record Label. However, the soundtrack has yet to come out in the American iTunes Music Store.

On June 7, Stephen Stohn posted a message on the Instant Star boards saying they will release Songs from Instant Star Three during the fall, with an Instant Star greatest hits album which will have one song from Instant Star Season Four.
