12 Memories Review
12 Memories is the fourth studio album by the Scottish rock band Travis, first released in 2003. It was a much more grown up album by Travis and focused on political issues like the 2003 Iraq invasion, politicians and abuse in the home. It opened to a rather mixed reviews by music critics. Three singles were released from the album. The first "Re-offender" reached number 7 in the UK chart and was about home abuse. The second single was "The Beautiful Occupation" and was based around the occupation of Iraq by US and UK forces in 2003. The final single "Love Will Come Through" was a much more classical Travis single and was featured in a marketing campaign by the "Post Office".
